We are dedicating this month to Brummie beauty Miss Kai Ryder. If you don’t know who she is then where the hell have you been? I mean, she has performed at events such as manchester and Notting Hill carnival, iluvIive and the O2 institute.
The singer songwriter has certainly been keeping herself busy and has teamed up with artists such as Yungen, Skraps and Birmingham’s very own Young Thrill (who produced ‘Brown Sugar’).
Anywho… Not only has she produced banging solo singles such as ‘Brand New’ (gaining over 28,000 views on YouTube) but has also blessed our ears with that cool and calm 90’s RnB sound. Listening to her music, you can tell that Kai has definitely taken inspiration from some of her influences; Ashanti , Aaliyah, SWV, and Alicia Keys.
Being the 90’s babies that we are, we can’t get enough of ‘Brand New’.
