Mist – Hot Property

It seems like Brummie rapper Mist can literally do it all, his very memorable video or should we say movie ‘Aint The Same’ has officially been topped and not by another artist.

The visual for ‘Aint The Same’ was filmed in sunny Dubai and now Mist is feeling a bit chilly.  He shows that you can also make a movies in the snow and hanging with a pack of Huskies is well… very casual.

The rapper heads out to Iceland to shoot ‘Hot Property’ and damn the musical film is H.O to the bloody T.

Teaming up yet again with Steel Banglez the guys together are a genius concoction and with Mist smashing the music scene, 2017 is looking to be a madness. So guys get the popcorn out and enjoy the film below.

Preditah ft C4 – Touch Road

Another day another Brummie banger is released on Youtube and this one is by far our favourite.

Following up from his recent EP release ‘Black Canvas Vol 1’ Preditah has finally given the go ahead on the much anticipated video for ‘Touch Road’. Teaming up with younger sibling C4 , the Brummie brothers have hit a gold mine with this collaboration.

‘Touch Road’ is the opening track on the brand new EP and four more head bopping beats follow. The Birmingham DJ/Producer has is not stopped there. Only because ‘Blank Canvas’ is now released (on his label Circles you go preds) the BBK associate has been endlessly snap chatting even more new music in the studio. From what we can see he has something cooking with another artist from our city, that is definitely going to be hitting the clubs. Just wait on it.

Music Mania

February is a banging month for Brum when it comes to music and live performances. A whole host of UK artist (and honorary Brit Drake) will be blessing our bubbly city, starting from next week.

The music mania begins on Sunday 19th February when grime artist AJ Tracey performs at the O2 institute. He always takes his music and videos to the next level, so we’re not surprised the show is sold out. With big tunes from his new EP Lil Tracey such as ‘Buster Cannon’ (filmed in Japan), ‘Pasta'(filmed in Tenerife) and’Luke cage'(filmed in New York) the MTV Brand New winner is sure to be spoilt for choice on what to perform for us.

Then literally the next day (Monday 20th February) rapper and actress Paigey Cakey hits the O2 Academy. Now, Paige is no tourist when it comes to our city as she’s performed in our city plenty of times. However this is her first tour and of course she couldn’t leave us out. After listening to her mixtape ‘Red Velvet’ which was released last month we’re hoping to see her perform ‘Down’ and ‘Boyfriend’ oh yeah and ‘Boogie’ Not forgetting our favourite ‘Pattern’. There’s still a few tickets left so if you want some click right here:

The one and only Drizzy will finally be returning to Birmingham. After peeping his London and Manchester  performances we’re too excited to see what’s in store for us. So far he’s brought out Giggs, Krept and Konan, Santan Dave and Travis Scott. We wonder who he will bring along this time, whoever it is let’s just hope they don’t end up falling into a hole LOL! Drake will be Performing on the 22nd and 23rd of February at the Barclaycard Arena and you do not want to miss it!

If all that grime, rap, hip-hop, and R&B wasn’t enough to get you bopping. Feb is giving us more! On Sunday 26th The O2 Academy will be blessed with the smooth sound of Angel. With his latest EP ‘Her’ out now, we are looking forward to hearing his recent singles live on stage. We just hope he brings along Stefflon Don to perform ‘Hop On It’. The west London singer has been teasing us on Insta, posting snippets of new unreleased songs and we’re desperate to hear the full versions. Tickets for his show are completely sold out. But you can always purchase his EP, close your eyes and imagine that you are there.😓

Mist’s Millions

Mist is a man on a mission and is quickly heading to the top of the grime scene. After the success of his debut tour, (which sold out even after more dates were added) he announced that he would be headlining another tour in March!

It seems we aren’t the only ones who can’t get enough of him. His latest music video ‘Madness’ reached two million views in less than a month.
To be honest we aren’t surprised one bit , the track has a wavey vibe with catchy bars oh…and his flying around in a helicopter. #StillStunting.

Produced by the incredible Steel Banglez (the same guy who produced ‘Aint The Same’) This one definitely deserves all the views it’s getting. Don’t believe us pree below.

Brummie Of The Month

As bonfire night approaches, the temperature plummets and the mornings become *foggy*. We suggest you pull out your winter coats or the cold might *make you sick*. But enough about the weather can you guess who our Brummie of the month is?

Of course! Mist takes over November with all his Sickmade karla-ness (we don’t even know what that means LOL)

Next month the Brummie rapper will be performing at various venues across England. The sick made Karla tour completely sold out in a matter weeks and was supposed to start in Leeds on 12th December.  An extra date was added due to popular demand, so now the four day tour will begin in Manchester on the 11th. Mist’s last show will be in London on the 14th (and obviously he will be performing for us Brummies in between)

Adding an extra date clearly wasn’t enough to satisfy his fans. The rapper also had to change several of his venues to places with a higher capacity. And yep, you guessed it. They all sold out too.

It’s not surprising that there has been such a hype surrounding this tour. His second music video movie ‘Ain’t The Same’ hit a tremendous 2 million views on YouTube in just over two weeks. TWO MILLION! (We reckon we watched in about a million times though.)

Now, we’ve finally worked out how he manages to get so much done. He was joined by Mostack, Steel Banglez and Sevaqk and together they shutdown link up TV’s 30 minute challenge by creating a record in about six minutes. With that kind of turn around we can’t wait to see what else our man of the month will come out with next.
